Ensure durable joint strength in new or remedial projects, now and into the future - with SCS2000N SilPruf Sealant.

From window perimeters and punched openings through to flashing and other critical junctions - SilPruf creates an airtight and watertight barrier to protect them from the elements and ensure their longevity and performance.

Made from 100% silicone, this versatile sealant is supplied as a paste and cures to a durable seal – giving the necessary movement capability required to enable the most complex deigns.

Maintaining both its flexibility and strength after decades of exposure to the weather - SCS2000 SilPruf sealant is designed to hold up in the most demanding environments.

SilPruf securely bonds to many substrates and finishes without a primer, including glass, polycarbonate, vinyl, plastics, wood, paints, coated and anodized aluminum, concrete, brick, wood, terracotta, natural stone, ceramic, porcelain, and EIFS. Please note some finishes may require a primer.

Performance

Strong and Durable

SilPruf sealant exhibits excellent long-term resistance to natural weathering, while its combination of high tensile strength and capacity to absorb high deformations make it ideal for protective glazing designs and seismic applications.

Flexible and Stable

  • Can accommodate 50% movement in both extension and compression, and has excellent recovery after cycling.
  • Once cured, the material remains elastic over a range of -55°F (-48°C) to 300°F (149°C) and up to 400°F (204°C) under intermittent short-term exposure.

Practical Application

  • Extended work life for placement and tooling.
  • Low sag or slump for an easier application.

Environmentally Responsible

  • Low VOC: Significantly lower than the U.S Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (L.E.E.D.) program's requirements.
  • Neutral cure by-product with low odor.
