Project specific warranties are available for our construction products. Warranty requirements should be reviewed with a Momentive Performance Materials (MPM) representative prior to project initiation since some warranties require a drawing review, field testing and/or MPM laboratory testing.
The Standard Material Warranty is available for most of our products. This warranty is available for new and remedial projects. No proof of adhesion testing is required, however self-performed adhesion testing prior to the start of the project is recommended.
Weatherseal Warranty is available for all SilPruf™, UltraGlaze™, SilShield™, UltraSpan™, RapidStrength™ and SCS1200 sealants. To obtain this warranty, onsite and/or MPM laboratory adhesion testing is required to be performed on production samples. This warranty is available for new and remedial projects.
This warranty is available for all UltraGlaze, SilPruf SCS2000 and SCS1200 sealants. Structural Adhesion Limited Warranties will not be issued unless a MPM Technical Representative has reviewed shop drawings and MPM laboratory adhesion and compatibility testing is performed on production samples of metal, glass, gaskets, spacers and setting blocks with type and manufacturer identified. Review and testing is done on a project-by-project basis. No blanket approval is given for structural glazing applications.
Sample warranties are available for each warranty type. Final warranties will not be issued prior to 30 days of substantial project completion.
