Momentive Performance Materials, the manufacturer of the GE Silicones product line, isn’t just a global leader in construction sealants, it’s a global leader in silicone technology.

We’ve been working on silicone technology since the 1930s, when the business was a division of GE. In 1940, one of our research chemists, Eugene G. Rochow, literally invented the process enabling the industrial production of silicone. The business has been at the forefront of silicone technology ever since.
